Frequently Asked Questions
-
A: You can expect a personalized visit without the rush of a typical provider appointment. I am able to evaluate, diagnose, prescribe medications, and treat a wide range of concerns. While I do not currently accept insurance, any medications sent to a pharmacy may still be covered according to your individual insurance plan.
The nature and progression of each visit is entirely up to you. Some patients arrive with a clear plan or specific concern they would like to address, while others simply know they don’t feel like themselves and want help understanding why. My goal is to meet you where you are and, whenever possible, find a way to say “yes.”
Together, we will review your history, symptoms, and goals, and then evaluate treatment options collaboratively. This includes discussing the benefits, risks, and alternatives of different pathways—ranging from conventional medical treatments to integrative and root-focused approaches—while incorporating current evidence-based practices when available. Care is never one-size-fits-all; it is intentional, individualized, and guided by what feels both appropriate and aligned for you.
-
A: No. We can review your recent labs and treatment plans you’ve completed and determine a path that suits you moving forward. If you are currently receiving bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and are happy with your current regimen- we can continue with that dose. If you’ve been receiving GLP-1 injections and would like to continue- we can plan for that as well. Together we will establish goals and take the next steps.
-
A: Absolutely. I am available to take care or urgent needs that of which you would typically visit an urgent care. Your family member would just need to fill out the appropriate documents permitting me to see them. Please also keep in mind at this time I do not take insurance and therefore a cash pay office visit of $80 would be required.
-
A: My approach blends conventional, evidence-based medicine with integrative principles. I diagnose, prescribe, and treat using current medical standards, while also considering the whole person—mind, body, and environment. When appropriate, we explore nutrition, sleep, stress, nervous system regulation, hormones, and lifestyle patterns as part of care.
-
A: Patients often seek care for hormonal changes, fatigue, mood concerns, stress-related symptoms, gut issues, weight changes, headaches, sleep disturbances, skin concerns, and preventative wellness. Many have been told their labs are “normal” but still don’t feel well—and want a more thorough, thoughtful evaluation.
-
A: At this time, I do not accept insurance and operate on a cash-pay model. This allows me to spend more time with patients, reduce administrative limitations, and individualize care without insurance-driven restrictions. Labs, imaging, and medications ordered through outside facilities may still be covered by your insurance, depending on your plan.
-
A: Healing often requires time, listening, and context. Many symptoms don’t fit neatly into short visits. By allowing longer, unrushed appointments, we can explore patterns, history, and contributing factors that are often missed in traditional settings.
-
A: Yes. Care is always collaborative. Some patients prefer a more traditional medical approach, while others want to explore lifestyle, supplements, or root-cause strategies alongside medications—or instead of them when appropriate. We will discuss options openly and choose what feels aligned and safe for you.
-
A: In my clinical experience, physical symptoms can sometimes reflect emotional, relational, or spiritual strain. While not all conditions originate this way, it is important to acknowledge the mind–body connection. When patients are open to it, we may explore how stress, trauma, or misalignment may be influencing the body’s response.
-
A: I offer aesthetic services only to patients engaged in wellness care because I’ve observed that when people begin to feel better internally, their aesthetic goals often change. Enhancements become more subtle and intentional. Aesthetic care becomes an extension of wellness—not a substitute for it.
-
A: While I can certainly diagnose and prescribe when appropriate, this practice is best suited for individuals who value thoughtful care, conversation, and a deeper understanding of their health. If you are open to exploring contributing factors and participating in your healing process, you will likely feel very supported here.
-
A: You don’t need to have all the answers before your visit. Many patients come in feeling “off” without a clear explanation. Together, we will explore your symptoms, history, labs, and lived experience to identify patterns and possible root contributors.
